I just finished Dragon Age Ultimate in Steam, including all DLC's. I'm planning to delete the game data since its about 25 gig. How do I back it up just in case I plan on playing DA2 someday? Is it automatically backed up by EA servers? If I download DA2 on Origins, will it be able to recognize my saves on its cloud system?
And I see all the DLC installed, but it is not active. When installing, i received a pop-up noting: IN ORDER TO PLAY THE EXPANDED CONTENT FOR DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS ULTIMATE EDITION, IT MUST FIRST BE ACTIVATED. YOU CAN FIND THE DLC CODE IN STEAM ON THE 'CD KEY' LINK OR THE 'VIEW GAME CD KEY' OPTION. i've not been able to find a 'DLC Key' in Steam.
1.Make sure DAO is shut down. 2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam2\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\redist (or wherever your game was installed) 3. Run DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam.exe. 4. Run DAUServiceSetup_Steam.exe. This should fix the steam ultimate version where DLCs are non-activate, missing ultimate features and/or awakening
The Dragon Age Origins servers were taken offline permanently in 2017. This means all game data no longer migrates from the game to the Keep. It also means that all DLC bought directly from EA is no longer accessible. DLC bought through Steam, Xbox and PSN is still accessible.
