Hi, i have a 2008 mondeo titanium hatchback 1.8 diesel. Been having a lot of issues with the alarm going off for the past week with the dash saying alarm serive required, Taken it to my local garage and we have changed the interior sensor for a new one and checked the siren alarm and all is fine.
Good feedback. Thanks all. I've got a battery door key lock de-icer tool with a heated element that I used today. By putting this heated element in the crack of the door top and moving it along, it freed up the door and it opened. So shows it must be frozen. It took ages, but it worked. All above suggestions are much better Cheers allProblem is with my dads mondeo estate (58 reg) in that the boot wont stay shut, this has only started to happen since the snow, so my first thought was that some moisture has gotten somewhere, but would like someone elses opinion on the issue, so a quick run down of the issue, unlock the car, boot stays shut for about a minute then unlocks

A bit of a strange one this, but when using the central locking feature of a 1997 MK2 Mondeo it locks and then unlocks again within one second of locking. This happens if using the remote which is the radio wave type rather than infa red or the key it does not seem to make 4cT0VJ.
