Jun 29, 2021. #1. Hi All. One for you to think about. I have a 2005 Fiat Ducato 2.8JTD motorhome which started doing strange things electrically. It started with when driving along and switching the lights on, the engine loses power but if you push the throttle to the floor, it picks up again and runs fine. Three weeks ago while driving earlyWe then graphed the fuel pressure and cranked her for 30+ seconds until she started. The pressure slowly rose until it reached 140 engine coughed and the pressure fell back down to 100. This was about the 25 second mark. at 32 seconds of cranking the pressure was up to 150 and she started up.

When I turn on the ignition the engine turns. however sometimes it starts straight away, other times it feels as though it is trying to start but does not unless I keep the ignition key turned. sometimes the whole engine shakes until I release the ignition key. could this be a problem
FIAT DUCATO starter motor help HI I am a small woman with a 12 year old Autotrail Mohican motorhome on a fiat ducato 2.5 and the starter motor is dead.
